Can foreigners buy a hotel serviced apartment in Switzerland?
Yes, and foreigners do not need a special permit to buy a hotel serviced apartment. These are in a legal category of their own outside the usual restrictions for foreigners so a foreigner could buy more than one apartment. Usually foreigners may only own one property in Switzerland but even if they already own a second home in Switzerland, they could buy a hotel serviced apartment in addition.
