'La Toussuire is a fairly new hidden gem with high altitudes, low prices, a large ski area and uncrowded slopes. After enjoying the long ski season from December to April, why not stay on until the summer and watch the Tour de France cycle through?' - Florence Rowson-Stevens
La Toussuire is a small and relatively new village within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region with specatular panoramic views.
The family-friendly village has two ski schools; the ESF and ESI and a multitude of other activities and sports for children on offer.

La Toussuire is part of France's fourth largest ski area, Les Sybelles. With access to over 310km of pistes, 67 lifts and 124 varied slopes, the uncrowded runs of La Toussiure are a skier's paradise. The skiing caters for all abilities with many red and blue runs as well as some challenging black slopes.
The skiing is only going to get even more exciting as plans to link with Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes are on the horizon.
As one of the Tour de France locations, it comes as no surpirse that La Toussuire is a popular place among the cycling enthusiasts of the world. Whether you're there to spectate, participate or find your own cycling route, La Toussuire does more than impress.
There are many other sporting events on offer in the summer, and the ski lifts stay open six days a week to ensure that the unmissable sights and high altitude trails are always there to be enjoyed.
